Photography+ The Graduate Issue Competition 2023 Details
This opportunity is funded by Photoworks, Picter and the print partner Spectrum Photographic. Photoworks is a registered charity and part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio.
The Graduate issue is an opportunity that allows them to support emerging artists, and recognise the innovative work being produced by international voices.
Artists will be selected through an open call and the shortlist/final selection of awardees will be decided by the following judging panel:
- Sunil Shah, artist and writer
- Vivienne Gamble, founder and director of Seen Fifteen
- Tanlume Enyatseng, Photoworks Writer in Residence 2023
- Julia Bunneman , Photoworks Curator
Competition Rules
This international open call is free of charge and all recent graduates are welcome to apply. Please submit up to 10 images from a single project alongside a statement of no more than 200 words and your CV by 6 June.
Please be aware that you can enter once with one single project only – they cannot accept multiple projects. Your entry does not necessarily need to be your final graduation project, you can submit any recent body of work.

The competition is open to all BA and MA Photography Graduates all around the world.
